A singalong to remember at Bee Fold

There’s something about live music that brings people together 🎤❤️ Whether it’s singing along to a favourite song, having a little dance, or simply enjoying the atmosphere, it’s a chance for everyone to relax and enjoy the moment together.

At our Bee Fold Lane service, music sessions are always a highlight – and when Sheila Diamond joined us for a singalong session recently, it quickly turned into a brilliant afternoon.

We were also joined by some lovely visitors from Chapel. Team members Gemma, Kayleigh, and Godwin brought Steven and Peter along, and it was great having everyone together. We always enjoy welcoming friends from other services, and it made the afternoon even more special.

As the music got going, the song requests started coming in...

Kev asked for Proud Mary and showed us some great dance moves. He started off wrapping up under his blanket for comfort, but as the music went on and he settled into it, the blanket slowly came off and the dancing began.

Jess requested Westlife and sang along with her arms lifted high 🙌

Peter loved getting involved with the instruments and singing along, while Elaina asked for one of her favourites from Alicia Keys and even had a dance with staff.

And of course Glen was the first one up on the dance floor – as always – happily shaking his hips to the music. It was one of those afternoons where everyone found their own way to join in, whether that was dancing, singing, playing instruments, or simply enjoying the atmosphere. 🕺

And if you'd like to see some snippets from Sheila's wonderful performance, take a look below...

Moments like these might seem simple, but they’re really special. Music has a way of bringing people together and helping people feel comfortable, confident, and connected.

We’re already looking forward to welcoming more friends to the next event! ❤️
