Crook is a unique and welcoming residential nursing care home in Winsford, supporting adults with complex health needs, including physical and learning disabilities.
Housed in a converted chapel, this six-bed home combines historical charm with thoughtful, accessible design – offering a calm and supportive environment tailored to individual needs.
A warm and accessible place to call home
Life at Crook is calm, connected, and centred around the individual – with everything designed to feel safe, comfortable, and truly personal.
The home is fully wheelchair accessible and entered via large, original chapel doors that open into a light-filled interior. At the heart of the space is a bright, spacious lounge where residents come together to relax, socialise, or take part in activities. The adjacent dining area connects to a private, secure garden with its own summer house – offering fresh air, gentle stimulation, and a peaceful retreat outdoors.
Crook includes six spacious, well-furnished bedrooms, all of which can be adapted and personalised to reflect each person’s preferences and needs. There are three bathrooms, including rise and fall baths and wet room showers, to ensure comfort and accessibility for everyone.
A fully equipped kitchen allows our team to prepare nutritious, home-cooked meals every day, and laundry is managed on-site to support independence and dignity in daily life. Residents also benefit from access to additional facilities at nearby Chapel – giving them more opportunities to connect, engage, and thrive.
