Night Support Worker Roles

Woolston, Warrington

About the service

Woolston is a warm and welcoming Supported Living home, thoughtfully designed to cater to the unique needs of 4 individuals with learning and physical disabilities, including those classified as having PMLD (Profound and Multiple Learning Disabilities). This specially adapted home, complete with a garden and a homely atmosphere, provides a truly personal experience of support and adult life, living in the company of a small, close-knit group.

One of the amazing things about supported living is how it enables people to develop confidence and become active, independent citizens within the community. By giving individuals full living support, they can build on their strengths, develop new skills and live as independently as possible.

As a Learning Disability Night Support Worker, no two days (or nights) are alike - much like the diverse individuals we support. Our approach revolves around person-centered planning, tailoring our services to suit the distinct requirements of each person we support. We are deeply committed to working towards positive outcomes for every individual, celebrating even the smallest milestones on their journey to personal growth. As a Support Worker, you'll be equipped with comprehensive training to provide a wide range of assistance, including personal care, behavioural support, fostering independence and confidence, and nurturing positive relationships through effective communication.

We have full-time (36 hours) or part-time (24 hours) weekend positions available, paying £13 per hour for night hours worked between 8pm and 8am (£12 /hour + £1 night enhancement).

Although previous experience would be great, it’s not essential, as all training and qualifications are provided on the job! See below for our additional colleague benefits.
