Ian Fairbrother

Ian is a former senior nurse with experience at NHS Trust Board Director and Assistant Chief Executive level. With over 30 years senior management experience, he aims to contribute to the success of WCL. As an NHS commissioner, he successfully completed several change management projects affecting whole organisations including strategic alliances with several local authorities and voluntary sector providers.

As one of the founders of a charity which is now part of WCL, Ian shares the same values and chose to merge with WCL as they demonstrated the same sustained commitment to the people in their care. As a board member on the quality committee, he sees first hand the dedication and skills demonstrated by the teams to improving the quality of care and and the contribution to changing lives in a positive way.
